I was never much of a science/math person. Failed chemistry in high school (though I did enjoy conducting tests), barely made it through biology. But give me pen and paper or a paintbrush and canvas and I’d make Shakespeare and da Vinci look like amateurs. Okay not entirely accurate (actually not accurate at all but one can dream).  I am an arts person, though. For as long as I can remember I’ve always enjoyed the arts – literary, performing, visual. I think that’s why it didn’t take long for me to figure out that being a Mass Communication major, Art minor was the right choice shortly after entering university in 2003.

I’ve been at TBC Radio for basically a year (time really flies!). I’ve enjoyed my experience because not only do I get to exercise my creativity but I also enjoy hearing and reading your comments about how much this station is impacting your life. It’s always my prayer that TBC will continue to be the breath of change in our island home.

Below are some of my interests and I’ve even thrown in a few interesting facts:

·         God

·         Reading (great online sources: www.boundless.org, www.pureintimacy.org)

·         Writing

·         Drawing

·         Outdoor activities – hikes, going to the beach, picnics

·         Traveling the world (hope to accomplish this soon!)

·         Shopping  :)

·         I can’t swim but I love jet-skiing, tubing, canoeing, etc. (you only live once, right? But I guess I could just learn to swim)

·         I'd dedicate whole days to watching The History Channel, National Geographic, TLC and Discovery Health

·         I was born at home, delivered by a midwife
